Case study — Product story & stills

Field Notes

A stationery maker launching its most ambitious collection yet. We treated paper like cinema — texture, light, and hands — and turned a product drop into a story people kept.

TIMELINE

Four weeks, one shoot day

The challenge

Paper doesn’t shout. It whispers.

In a feed built for spectacle, a notebook launch is easy to scroll past. Field Notes needed imagery with enough craft and closeness that people could almost feel the paper through the screen.

The approach

Shoot the ritual, not the object.

We filmed the small ceremonies of the working day — the first page, the margin note, the desk at golden hour. Macro lenses, practical light, and an original foley track built from real paper sounds.
